You will explore Ethiopia’s most beautiful wilderness destinations with staggering vistas, including the escarpments of the Simien mountains and the afro-alpine terrain of the Bale mountains, packed with endemic wildlife from the iconic Ethiopian wolf, Mountain nyala, Meneliks bushbuck, Walia ibex, Gelada baboons and Lammergeiers. You can also visit the compelling antiquities of the medieval rock-hewn churches of Lalibela and the magnificent 17th century castles of Gondar. Lastly, you will journey into the Omo Basin, a kaleidoscope of culture and terrain. Traveling by boat along the banks of the Omo river further into southern Ethiopia to see the thick riverine forest full of birds and crocodiles. Along the way, drinking drink plenty of coffee!
